Hungarian music of the 20th century within the European context

In cooperation with the corean pianist Jin-Young Lee (lecturer of the University of Music in Cologne) Tímea Megyesi will interpret music of two Hungarian composers of the 20th century. Her intension is to oppose this music to works of composers of the 18th and 19th century, coming from Scandinavia, Germany and Italy.

The Hungarian musician Timea Megyesi (born in 1985 in Budapest) studied from 2003 to 2009 at the Ferenc Liszt Music Academy in Budapest and from 2006 to 2009 at the University of Music and Performing Art in Stuttgart.
